Dave Curry was born and raised in Lindenhurst, Long Island, where he shared
with his friends a passion for love, laughter, and pro wrestling and
doughnuts, of course. He then attended Binghamton University, where he
starred in main stage musical productions Man of La Mancha (Don Quixote) and
Three penny Opera (MacHeath). He was also a member and one-time music
director of the Binghamton Crosbys, where he met fellow EXB members Lehho,
Dave and Rex. After college, Dave went on to Towson University, where he
got his Masters in Teaching. He then came back to New York, where he waited
tables at Smith & Wollensky's and tried his hand at
Broadway. After two unsuccessful cattle calls, he decided to call it quits.
"It's a good thing I did," said Curry. "Those theater people are all
f$*#!in' wackos anyway!" Dave joined EXB in 1997 when Kern merged EXB with
his other group, Vitamin Steve. He finally decided to do something with his
life in 2000, when he entered law school at St. John's. He graduated in May
2003 and started soon thereafter in a big corporate firm, where he is
chained to a desk for 80 hours a week (and loooves it!). Dave wishes to
thank his mom for his voice, and his dad for his bald head, which the chicks
just can't get enough of. Dave also thanks Archie, his wife, for
being his best buddy in the whole world.
