Jeff was born on a pile of gold bars in Fort Knox, Kentucky right around
Derby time. Upon emerging from the womb, he cried in terror at having been
born in such a godforsaken place. He cried so loud and vehemently that his
parents were forced to move away. But bitter as they were because of all the
crying, they transported poor young Jeffrey to the land of bad accents and
big hair Long Island, where he spent the remainder of his childhood.
The beginnings of Jeff's musical exploits were non-vocal. He had an early,
unsuccessful try at piano lessons, but settled on the trumpet, where he
could not only annoy his parents, but also the rest of the neighborhood. The
vocal stuff came later when Jeff realized that it was a good way to get the
chicks with the big hair.
After prying himself away from Long Island, Jeff spent 4 years at the
University of Pennsylvania where he had his first a cappella experience in
the vocal group "The Penny Loafers". Since then, he's been hanging his hat
in good ol' NYC. Jeff loves to escape from the city several times a year to
travel the world often with other members of the Ex's. Oh yeah, Jeff's been
with the Exb's since 1993 that's 10 years, baby! Here's to 10 more!
